This is a very interesting and rare antique yearbook from Pomona High School, California from 1903, called 'The Cardinal'. It is a small booklet, about 80-90 pages total (pages aren't numbered). It measures 6 by 8 1/2 inches. The front few pages show 2 pictures, the old high school building and the new one. Also, it features pictures of the class of 1903 of course and the faculty of 9 people. It talks about athletics, rival schools like Riverside and Monrovia. The back quarter of the booklet are advertising sponsors, like modern yearbooks. The condition is good to very good, considering its age. There is wear and some small tears. There was a string binding that has worn away but it stays intact with the cover around it. The cover has some stains and has yellowed. This is a terrific, old piece of history of Pomona and Southern California and is a 'must have' for any year book collector!
