The Craft of the Clockmaker, by E. J. Tyler, published by Beekman House, Crown Publishers in 1973. This book has 84 illustrations, both photographs and diagrams. The author describes the advance of clocks from the primitive church clodks of the middle ages to the very complex repeater watches of the Victorian era and electric clocks and watches of today. Great background knowledge for the clock and watch enthusiast. This hard boud book meausres 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and has 96 pages. The book is in excellent condition (like new) expect for a scribbled out name inside the front cover. The dust cover is also in very good condition except the front inside flap has a fold and the price cliped off the inside corner (not visible from the outside).
