This Green Wing Teal Hen Duck Decoy was made by Woodward's Tule Lake.
Tule Lake manufactured decoys between 1920 and 1925.
This decoy has glass eyes and the original scratch-paint finish that provides a deep texture to simulate feathers.
The head is solidly attached but a small section of neck filler is missing under the chin (see photos).
The Woodward's Tule Lake stamp on the bottom is mostly obscurred by some repaint on the decoy's bottom and partially up one side.
The word Woodward's is nearly completely visible and a few portions of 'Tule Lake' are visible as well.
This decoy displays extremely well with a nice patina.
Please use the many photos we have provided to determine the overall condition for yourself.
The decoy measures 12 inches from end to end, 4 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the duck's head.
