This is a terrific Tea Leaf copper lustre sugar bowl with lid made by Wedgwood & Co., England. It is in very good condition but has tiny 'grid' crazing over the whole piece. The handle on the lid has been repaired well but what looks like a hairline is visible more on 1 side than the other. Also on the lid is a pink lustre rub mark that is under the glaze and probably happened in manufacture of this piece. This is the fancier Wedgwood pattern with the vertical ribs on the lid and around the bottom half of the sugar box. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall by about 6 inches wide. It is stamped on the bottom in black and reads: ROYALSTONE CHINA WEDGWOOD & CO. England around a crest with a lion and unicorn. This is an earlier mark that was used between 1891 and 1900. Add this wonderful sugar bowl to any Tea Leaf Ironstone collection!
