This is a great, antique cheese scoop or spoon that is sterling silver. We believe it is made in England. The marks it has are a 'WC', the lion passant, and 2 others that are unreadable. It has a deep, rounded spade shape to the scoop and a plain patterned handle. The monogram that is worn almost smooth but readable is WWB. It looks like this piece was 2 pieces that were put together by hand. This serving piece measures 8 inches long and weighs 73.6 grams. The condition is excellent with only a few rough spots on the edge of the scoop and on one side of the handle. This is a wonderful antique, heavy serving piece to add to any sterling silver table service!
