This is a wonderful, non-fiction history book featuring many events that happened in America in the years directly following World War II. It is entitled Days To Remember & dated 1956. It has more than 400 black & white photographs, provided by LIFE Magazine. The purpose of this book is to remind us through words & pictures of the people & events, facts & fancies that seized our attention during ten of the most crowded & fascinating years in our history--most particularly, to remind us how we felt when each one first made its impact, jolting us into laughter or grief, fear, fury or hope. This book still has its dust jacket. It does have a tear & some light staining though. The condition of this book is excellent. It has very minimal wear on the corners of the hard cover. This is a terrific book to highlight events in history in the late 40s to early 50s that so many of us would like to remember!
