This is an early 1945 Duro-matic McCoy 60 model engine suitable for tether race car or aircraft. This engine has the flush bypass and the small 'McCoy' on the bypass. It has a clear, sand cast case with Duro-matic stamped on the left lug and the serial number 2627 on the right lug. The lugs have obvious signs of being mounted. The front case screws have screwdriver tool marks. The exhaust port is original and unshaved. It has a blue anodized head with some clear spotting in the anodized finish. The piston has 2 rings. There are some plyer marks on the ignition contact arm. It has a 1 inch aluminum spool on the keyed crankshaft. The inside of the exhaust port has no residue, very clean. It comes with a Champion VR-2 spark plug.
I am liquidating my collection & will have several great engines available for bids.
